Donation For Greenhouse Project

Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC donated to the Central Cass Public School for their Greenhouse Project. This project has been part of the school’s plan to further their Agricultural Education and STEM programs. Hannah Gress, the Central Cass Ag Education and FFA Advisor, has the goal, with the help of the greenhouse, to have a spring plant sale to help benefit the FFA chapter and Ag Ed class.  

 

Strengthening the plant science curriculum is also creating a lot of excitement with Hannah and the students. We are looking forward to seeing the greenhouse progress, and we can’t wait to hear from Hannah about the project.  

 

Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC wants to promote agricultural learning in our community. We are happy to see the excitement for the greenhouse, and we are happy we could contribute to the project!

Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC was formed in 2004. The company was a merger between Prosper Farmers Cooperative Elevator, Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmers Elevator and AGP Grain Ltd out of Omaha, NE. AGP owned the north elevator in Casselton, and with the merger in 2004 Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC broke ground on a new shuttle loading facility in Casselton. In 2017 Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmers Elevator and Prosper Farmers Elevator merged into Maple River Coop, which has a majority ownership of Maple River Grain and Agronomy, LLC (MRGA).
