Welcome, Susan Kieffer

Jul 15, 2024

Susan grew up on a livestock and grain farm in the rural Mapleton, ND area, and enjoyed helping work on the farm, especially during harvest and haying season. She was a 4-H member for all her childhood and has great memories of experiences with this organization. Later, Susan became a 4-H leader for several years with her children’s 4-H club.

She graduated college with a degree in veterinary technology and worked as a licensed veterinary technician in mixed animal practice for over 35 years. She served on various committees and boards throughout her career and enjoyed everything she learned collaborating with others. After a great career in the vet medicine profession, she decided to retire and seek other opportunities.

We are very excited that Susan has blessed us by joining our team at MRGA. We look forward to her knowledge and wisdom in our day-to-day operations.

Susan graciously shared some more information about herself for all of us to enjoy.

“I live on a farm in the Wheatland, ND area with my husband Adrian. He farms and is active in the Casselton Fire department and with the Casselton ambulance. We have two adult children, a son and daughter. Our son and his wife have one child and are expecting twins in December. I am so excited and love my role as grandma.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, going for walks with my golden retriever and going to training classes with her.

I am so very excited to continue working within the agriculture industry as it is very important to me. I look forward to learning new things and to be able to help in any way I can.  I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to join the MRGA team and to continue to help and serve others in my new role here with MRGA by providing good customer service.”
