Project:  SPACE PLANNING (VARIOUS)
Clients:  Texas Instruments Incorporated
MRGA Architecture
Any Baby Can Child & Family Resource Center

When Any Baby Can merged three offices to occupy the former Aperian Building, MRGA facilitated the process by working closely with staff to organize the layout by program functions. Project construction completed in 2002.

An outdoor courtyard between building wings was evaluated for possible infill at Building 2 for the Texas Instruments site at Stafford (Houston). The plan maximized space for systems furniture, while at the same time leaving small conference areas for each group of six cubicles. The infill design solution provided a relatively quick and cost-effective way to expand office space within the existing building context, rather than constructing a costlier addition to the exterior of the existing building. Schematic design completed in 1999.

Space planning for MRGA Architecture features an open studio area at the center, with conference room and offices on the perimeter. This arrangement encourages easy communication among team members on projects. Natural light is supplemented by pendant indirect lighting fixtures. Project construction completed in 1998.

At the Texas Instruments Lewisville site, a stand-alone office area was added between two existing wings of the building. The Management Complex Addition was a high security area located adjacent to the existing lobby. Fixed partition offices were custom-designed to accomodate systems furniture. These offices were located around the perimeter with administrative support in modular furniture at the center of the space. New restrooms were provided in the existing building. Project construction completed in 1995.
